Who We Are:
My name is Joey…yes, a little different for a girl. I guess in a way, my name has always made me feel a little unique…..kind of original. 1839 is the date of the origins of the word/name Joey. That was the start of it, the beginning. And as you probably know, it also means “baby kangaroo”!!

A lot happens between the beginning and end of something. Life happens, joy happens, love happens, tough stuff happens, kindness happens, play happens, and on and on and on. So, what’s your in-between? Whatever it is, my guess is, it keeps happening.

Cute Keeps Happening is a quote my mom used to say when we are shopping…as if to say, make sure you love it, cause just around the corner, you might find something cuter or better! Let’s keep looking around the corner for what’s happening next. My guess is, whatever it is…it keeps happening! So, what’s happening with you??

And this is my little place in a big world of e-commers. I started this for a few reasons, I wanted to do more….to be more…to give more. You’ll not only find 1839 keeps happening stuff…but things that help others get their happenings out there.

Soon there will be some fun merch with stuff “happening” as well as some products by others who have some awesome stuff happening.

Helping Others:
It takes people helping people to make things happen! 1839 wants to help others I’m a bit of a dreamer, and love to see other people’s dreams come true and see their ventures succeed. You know, I’m one of those people who cries at sappy hallmark card commercials, when the underdog wins the game, rags to riches stories, etc….

Our goal is to use small, local and/or mission-based companies to produce our products. As well as help other people start/continue their venture or dream.
